Apostle
Cary L. Baker has proven himself to be a multi-faceted man of God.
An accomplished businessman, community leader and pastor, he is
highly regarded for his commitment to reaching the masses through
the power of God. In doing so, Apostle Baker is a widely sought
after ministry vessel renown for his unchanging message of hope,
healing and restoration.
Having an
impact that reaches across corporate, community and faith based
arenas, Apostle Baker has delivered a message of God’s love
since the age of 24. It was at this time that he began to aggressively
pursue the plan of God for His life. He was ordained into the Gospel
Ministry at the age of 24. Apostle Baker continued on a path of
ministry, graciously serving in various facets of ministry leadership
until called to Pastor the Point Christian Outreach Ministries in
1999.
This life-changing
ministry was birthed from the vision that God and mankind comes
together to meet humanity at the point of their need. “The
Point”, as affectionately termed by its members; is a vibrant,
growing, Spirit-filled fellowship of multi-cultural believers that
are committed to a mission of love and outreach to the city for
the glory of God. In 2002, he was consecrated to the office of Apostle
under the tutelage of Apostle William D. Carter, III, Overseer of
the Cross of Calvary Ministries in Richmond, Virginia. In November
of 2006, he was asked to sit on the Board of Bishops for the National
Assembly of Christian Churches and Ministries Fellowship, Inc.
Concerned
about the spiritual growth and astuteness of those in ministry leadership,
Apostle Baker serves as a professor at the “School of the
Prophets” in Pearland, TX. He is a part of many pastoral and
civic organizations and fellowships with a myriad of ministries
across the nation.
Apostle
Baker is the devoted husband of First Lady Brenda Baker and the
father of four children and one grandson.
Never satisfied with a mundane existence, Apostle Baker continues
to transcend denominational barriers with a prolific gospel ministry
positioned to impact the world.

Lady Brenda Baker
Brenda Baker,
affectionately known as "Lady Brenda" is the wife of Pastor Cary
L. Baker, senior pastor of the Point Christian Outreach Ministries.
Devoted to the vision of the ministry, she lovingly labors alongside
her husband to fulfill their God given assignment.
An advocate
of personal development and higher education, Lady Brenda Baker
has attended Reagan High School , Houston Community College , Durham
School of Business, The University of Phoenix and The School of
the Prophets. She utilizes her corporate background, leadership
skills and spiritual training to empower the body of Christ to greatness.
Lady Brenda is a highly sought after workshop and conference speaker
who shares with all who hear that "a relationship with Jesus is
the key that unlocks the answers needed daily in life."
Gifted both spiritually
and naturally, she has worked in the professional field of Accounting
for over 15 years. She uses her expertise daily as a Tax Analyst
for TEPPCO.
Currently,
Lady Brenda serves as the director of W.O.R.T.H. (Women on the Road
to Heaven) Ministries, a multi-cultural women's fellowship that
meets monthly to educate, equip and impart into the lives of women.
She passionately encourages women to discover and fulfill their
God given purpose. Her teachings inspire and challenge women to
develop a strong relationship with God and their families.
She is the
mother of four daughters; Nicole, husband Michael Thomas, Tosha,
Ranisha, Antonette and one grandson Myles.
More than
a first lady, Brenda Baker is a precious jewel to those around her.
She graces the body of Christ with a spirit of excellence that is
first class and second to none. She exudes Godly wisdom, beauty
and character - attributes that set a standard for women of all
ages to follow. In doing so, it is her utmost desire to provoke
the presence of God while encouraging all those that will listen
to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus.
